About Me

My photo
Tom Richey
Norfolk, NE
I’ve been involved in construction since 1999, but I’ve been inquisitive for as long as I can remember. I took a tape player apart when I was seven years old, and while my actions didn’t exactly thrill my father, I was able to figure out how that film got from one spool to the other inside those cassettes. And that same curiosity has since served me well.

I have worked on and inspected houses ranging from new to old, well to poorly built, and have experience dealing with all aspects of construction practices. My passion for inspecting homes involves finding both their flaws and their highlights, which is what property inspection is all about—not just finding the bad, but also the good. Utilizing the knowledge I have gained through working on my own home and the homes of many others, as well as specific training in the field of home inspection, I am using my unique perspective of home construction to do something I excel at as well as enjoy.
